St. Michael's Church is a Catholic
Parish of the Archdiocese of Newark. It is guided by the
Vocationist Fathers whose charisma is to promote Vocations
to the Priesthood and Religious life, especially to those
whom cannot afford to pay for their education. St. Michael's
Parish has many catholic groups which aims to the spiritual
growth and the development of the People of God in the
Parish. Our Pantry supplies the food for the poor people
within the parish twice a week (Tuesday's and Thursday's).
St. Michael's Church also runs a grammar school which is
the largest in the Archdiocese of Newark in the number of
students.
The Vocationist Sisters, who are the other branch of the
Vocationist Fathers, founded by Fr. Justin M. Russolillo,
S.D.V., also work with the parish. They run the 'Perpetual
Help Day Care Nursery' which is part the Parish. The
Vocationist Sisters serve the needs of the Children of the
Newark area and surrounding towns. |
